01. The service
HKSIDataBase provides independent exam-preparation and career-development resources. We are not the HKSI Institute, an examination authority, an employer or a recruitment agency. Course resources are revision aids and do not replace the official materials applicable to your examination.
02. Purchases and course access
Checkout shows the selected course, language, access period and complete one-time price before payment. Paid exam-course access runs for the stated period, normally 30, 60 or 90 days, from the activation date shown in your account. A purchase is not a subscription and does not renew automatically unless a future checkout clearly says otherwise and you expressly agree.
Available course resources can differ by paper and language. The course page at checkout identifies the included previews and materials. Payment and order records remain available after timed study access expires.
03. Lifetime career-toolkit bonus
Where a purchase includes the career toolkit, the toolkit remains available through the purchasing account after the timed exam course expires. “Lifetime access” means for the lifetime of the HKSIDataBase service while the account remains in good standing; it is personal, non-transferable and has no separate cash value. We may update, replace or improve individual templates and lessons while keeping substantially equivalent career-toolkit access available.
04. Account use
Your account is for your own study. Do not share login credentials, resell access, automate extraction, publish protected question banks or distribute premium materials. Reasonable personal downloading and printing offered by the interface is permitted. We may restrict access where necessary to investigate fraud, payment disputes, security incidents or material misuse.
05. Exam and career outcomes
Practice scores, résumé guidance, ATS suggestions and interview exercises are educational tools. They do not guarantee an examination pass, recruitment-system ranking, interview, job offer, licence or regulatory approval. Keep every résumé and interview statement accurate and verifiable; do not add hidden keywords, invented experience or misleading qualifications.
06. Third-party software and notices
Interactive mind maps use React Flow by xyflow, distributed under the MIT License. Other open-source components and their licence texts are retained with the deployed application where required. Third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners.
